In 2016, the syndicated research Mall Mapping premiered at Arab Luxuy World. It was launched with the aim of filling the existing gap in retail measurement in the UAE and Saudi Arabia by providing independently gathered data that will bring actionable, operational insights to brands and mall developers. This year, a monthly Mall Tracker has been initiated to follow the ever-changing consumer patterns amidst challenging times for the retail industry as a whole. A snapshot of the key results of the first quarter of 2017 will be unveiled with first-of-its-kind data on mall segmentation and variances year-on-year.
