Akram is since 1991 equity Partner and Executive Board Director of Jacobsons Direct LLC, the UAE-born and region-wide leading CRM Programs business partner.
Earlier Akram had managed the Lower Gulf & Levant branches of Pan Arab Research Centre (PARC), developing and delivering innovative market research models and insight. Then Akram worked as Regional Director of the Marketing Services Division of the Publicis-Graphics Network to enrich network with strategic market intelligence to raise ROI of communication investments.
Akram holds an engineering degree in Agro-business Management from Groupe ISA / Lille, France and a Masters in International Marketing, Strategic Planning and Market Modeling from IGIA/ESSEC in France.
Akram also served 5 mandates on the Executive Board of the International Advertising Association (IAA) UAE Chapter and chaired several Industry Awards Committees from 1993 till 2004
