Manuel Sancho has been Nespresso’s Middle East & Africa Business Development Manager since October 2014. In this position, Mr Sancho continues to oversee the development of the Nespresso brand in key countries including the Maghreb Region, Central & West Africa, Kuwait and the UAE.
Mr Sancho holds a long and successful track record in international business development. Before moving to MEA region, he held several important positions within Nespresso, including: Export Manager in charge of global development policies and strategies; Country manager of China, where he opened the flagship boutiques in Shanghai and Beijing, tripled the business in nearly three years timeframe; International Business Development manager, where he oversaw the new markets around the global and initiated several strategies to open new markets.
Prior to joining the Nestlé Nespresso S.A. family, Mr. Sancho had acquired nine years’ experience in engineering. Early in his career, he was already introduced to working in markets around the globe, including China, South Korea, Japan, USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Turkey and Europe. Reflecting his international expertise, Mr Sancho is fluent in three languages – French, Spanish and English.
