Laila Hamdaoui is one of the first Fashion and Beauty editors to bring the international vibe to the Middle Eastern publications. Her role takes on stylist, creative director and consults luxury brands on products and imagery.
Based in London where she was born and raised. Her first step into the fashion world was when she assisted designers such as Zandra Rhodes and Paul Smith from the age of 19. Since then she has worked in titles such as Sayidaty, Hia Magazine, Al-Jamila bridging the West and Middle East through her strong visual story telling.
Since then she has worked with the weekly title ‘Laha Magazine’ for over 17 years as their London and Paris Senior Fashion and Beauty Editor chronicling her latest photo-shoots, celebrity, designer, perfumer interviews and fashion show reporting.
This experience merged with her Arab roots has lead her to work with commercial clients pushing their stories and briefs to an all round experience from print to video.
Here valuable opinion and reputation also involved her in freelance consultancy, appearances on TV, radio.
