Endowed with a wealth of experience and extensive knowledge of the luxury universe, Michel El Hachem joined Mazrui International in 2016 as Head of Retail. He spent 10 years with Tiffany & Co in Lebanon prior to moving to Dubai in 2008 when he joined the Richemont family as Manager of the Cartier flagship Boutique at The Dubai Mall. In 2012, he was asked to join the Al Fardan Group in Qatar where his remit was to assist in the restructuring of the business and to lead a portfolio of more than thirty of the world's most iconic brands including Harry Winston, Chopard, Vacheron Constantin, Piaget and Roger Dubuis. In 2013 he joined the international jewellery division of Damas where he played a dual role as General Manager of both Damas-International Brands Division and
Graff Diamonds. Under his leadership and sharp business acumen, each of the luxury brands entrusted to him have capitalised on their respective history and heritage and in so doing witnessed an ambitious phase of brand renewal, growth, and retail expansion. Today, he heads the retail division of Mazrui International LLC. Established 45 years ago, it is now a conglomerate group of companies, based in Abu Dhabi, with a highly diversified business portfolio. The group consists of more than 85 companies operating in the oil and gas, construction, retail, industrial, healthcare, education, logistics, real estate, and investment management services. Michel studied for his EMBA
in Business Administration at Robert Kennedy College, Switzerland. He studied jewellery design at the Academie Michelange Des Beaux Arts, Lebanon, and is a GIA diamonds and coloured stones accredited specialist [AJP].
