Growing up between Europe, The United States & Saudi Arabia, Hatem Alakeel gained unrivaled fashion experience on an international scale by working with & advising some of the world’s most prestigious global brands. Hatem has designed and collaborated for such global icons as Mattel’s Barbie, Puma, Pepsi , Evian, Van cleef & Arpels , Riz Carlton Rosewood and the Raffles Groups to name just a few. Hatem has dressed the likes of The Duke of Cambridge Prince william , christian Louboutin to Snoop Dogg.
His singular dynamic aesthetic vision, keen artistic eye for detail & immaculately executed designs have propelled Toby by Hatem Alakeel to the fashion forefront in social media and content creation.
Hatem Al Akeel is also a Saudi activist and fashion designer in KSA. As the founder of Toby he has pushed boundaries not only with innovative designs, but with highlighting the cultural tourism in KSA, working closely with government bodies to establish a ‘Made in KSA’ platform . Hatem was also fashion Co curator for last years Tanween at Ithra the king Abdulaziz center for world culture. In addition to his fashion house Hatem also consults on authentic methods for brands to approach the saudi market wether it’s art , fashion , always passionate about promoting talent and bridging cultures and merging luxury with tradition .
